In this class you will also build confidence, mental and physical strength and challenge yourself in new ways. Our instructors will guide you through each class to help you reach your full potential. By the end of this course you will have an understanding of the basics of Jiu Jitsu and have a solid foundation of fundamentals to build on. This class will get you ready to attend our all levels classes where you will be training with more experienced students in addition to other beginners.

Our 5 week intro class is designed to accommodate complete beginners and is a great place to start whether you are just looking to get in shape, learn self defense, start a new hobby, or simply try something new.

This course also includes access to our fitness conditioning classes.

The intro course will be start over every 5 weeks. Our next course starts October 3rd.

-Is this course mandatory? Can I just enter into your regular classes?

At the moment yes, the course is mandatory for anyone who has no prior grappling experience and you can't just sign on to the regular classes without completing this course first.

After the 5 weeks you can sign up for a membership and start training in the other classes. During this course you can also attend our cardio conditioning classes.

Exceptions are: if you are Law Enforcement or you have prior grappling experience, then you don't have to go through this course.

- Do I have to come to all 3 days?

Yes. Although I will be offering some make up days for those of you who may miss a class or two, the classes during these 5 weeks build onto the last class so if you miss too many classes you won't be benefiting much from this course.

- How is this course different than your regularly scheduled classes?

Our regularly scheduled beginners and all levels classes do not have a set curriculum, the classes don't build onto the last class or have any minimum attendance requirements. You simply come when you want to train and learn whatever technique is being taught that day.

The intro course is a 5 week comprehensive beginners program that focuses on the fundamental concepts of Jiu Jitsu and covers a set curriculum. The classes build onto the last class.

Starting Jiu Jitsu without having a basic understanding of the fundamentals can be confusing for a lot of people. Things do eventually come together with consistent training, however, the goal of the intro course is to minimize the confusion experienced in the initial weeks and fully prepare you to better understand and learn the materials being taught in our regular classes.

The intro course will also cover gym rules/ etiquette, how to train safely as well as ease you into sparring/ rolling with other beginners instead of throw you in with more experienced people on day 1.

- What if i change my mind or something comes up and I can't complete the course? What is the refund policy for this course?

If you decide the course isn't for you on Day 1 or Day 2, you will get a full refund.

There will be no refunds after Day 2 if you simply decide you no longer want to do this.

If an unforeseen event comes up, you can come to the next course we offer and you won't be charged again.

- I want to start training Jiu Jitsu but can't make it on the days/ times you offer the intro course. How can I get started if I can't make it to the intro?

The intro course will start over every 5 weeks so when one ends we will be restarting it again. The schedule is Tuesday Thursday Saturday, however, we are open to offering the class on different times or days.

If you are interested in joining but can't make the current intro class times just shoot us a message. We will try to keep everyone's availability in mind when scheduling the next intro class.
